| 广州湾 位于广东省西南部雷州半岛东北侧。湛江港的旧称。由东海岛、南三岛围抱而成。海岸线曲折，蜿蜒几十千米。湾内水深浪静。清末法国以租借之名，建栈桥码头300米，供木驳、帆船装卸之用，第二次世界大战期间为日本侵占，抗日战争胜利后收回。中华人民共和国建立后，已建成现代化海港，万吨客货轮通行无阻，3～4万吨级满载海轮亦可乘潮自由进出，是中国对外贸易港和渔业基地之一。 |
