植物形态:落叶小灌木,高约30~50厘米,茎直立无毛或幼时有短毛。叶互生,奇数羽状复叶,小叶7~15枚,长6~10厘米;小叶通常对生,有时为互生,小叶片卵状披针形至卵状椭圆形,两侧不对称,长15~20毫米,宽9~16毫米,有短柔毛或无毛。花紫色,蝶形,腋生总状花序,花序长达13厘米,萼5裂,旗瓣阔椭圆形,雄蕊10枚,两体,子房无柄。荚果线状圆筒形。种子5~8个。 生态分布:产我国长江中下游各省;多生于沟谷灌丛边,山坡丛林边及路边。 药用部分:根、茎入药,夏秋采收。 用途:能解毒、消炎,消肿。治咽喉肿痛、发热、咳嗽、下痢等症,用途同马棘。
