性质:(一)也称可使用时间、适用寿命、工作寿命。指热固性树脂、黏合剂等,从固化剂、添加剂混入开始,直到体系黏度上升到不能使用的最大时间止,即为可使用时间或适用期。一般适用期随固化剂的种类、添加量以及环境温度等而变化。(二)又称活化期、施工时限。涂料的原始包装打开后,或者回升主催化剂或其他组分后,涂料所能使用的最长时间。此项指标对涂料的施工性能和最终的固化涂层性能都有重要的影响。涂料施工需在适用期内,超过适用期,涂料的黏度、性能将发生改变,例如双组分涂料在施工前混合后,若时间太久则黏度上升、性能下降,甚至胶化而不能使用。
