According to block structure of residential areas, it uses “root mean square distance” of a region to its principle axis as a measurement for its linearity to eliminate some obvious nonresidential areas thereby to accelerate the speed of succeeding procedures.
首先，根据居民区目标具有的团块结构，利用目标区域到其主轴的“均方根距离”作为对其线性度的衡量，剔除部分明显的非居民区目标，加快后续处理速度；然后，利用居民区目标具有的固定填充模式的特性，利用频域匹配方法实现对居民区目标的精确定位；最后，采用数学形态滤波的方法实现对目标形态的调整，并生成边界链码以便重建和查询。
