| 雾凇 rime 低温时过冷雾滴或水汽在电线、树枝等物体表面撞冻或凝华而形成的冰晶沉积物。常在严寒的雾天出现。一般呈白色或乳白色，由无数小冰珠或小冰晶重叠组成，有时可增长很厚。雾凇有两类：①由水汽凝华形成的针状雾凇，呈枝状的白色晶体，质地松散，易于震落，出现于严寒的微风天气。②由过冷雾滴在物体上冻结而成的粒状雾凇，多朝一个方向增长 ，呈乳白色 ，出现于 微寒的有风天气 。当风速较大时，过冷雾滴最易冻撞在物体迎风面的突出部位，增长很快。严重时会压断或拉断树枝和电线，影响交通运输、通讯和输电线路的正常运行。
