In terms of oversea strong ground motion records and the comparison of different site classification conditions,this paper states a changing method of all kinds site conditions based on Nakamura.

A study on land types and proper land uses in karst area——an illustration by Banchuang village,Changshun;

Bases on the past studies of crop productive potential in the area of the Loess Plateau, mathematical models of grain productive potential for the different land type of the soil and water erosion area were established and some parameters in the models were recalculated and determined too.

Through the analysis of contour lines and land-use map and establishing digital elevation model and land type database, this paper presents an evaluating method of evaluating the backscattering coefficient on radio waves unitary under the conditions of a complicated large scale area.

Based on the land style quality structure,quantity structure,spatial structure and land use structure,the land structure and its characters in the gully area of Loess Plateau were analyzed.
