性质:测定流动温度的试验。按照ASTM的规定,把试样放入加热的料筒中,在规定的压力下,测定试样熔体流经直径3.175mm、长38.1mm的口模的距离,加压时间为2min。如果流出距离大于25.4mm,降低温度进行下一次测定。反之,则升高温度进行测定。在不同温度下进行数次试验,直至在12.7~38.1mm的流出距离内有三个值,其中至少有一个值大于25.4mm,另一个小于25.4mm,把这三个值用半对数坐标纸绘图,流出距离绘于对数坐标上,温度绘于线性坐标上,通常得一直线,从直线上读取流出距离为25.4mm时的温度。此试验即为流动温度试验。
