本研究主要给出了水轮机主要参数计算的数学模型及特性曲线的绘制方法，阐述了水轮机特性曲线拟合的数学原理，包括各种插值和拟合方法，以在数据库开发方面具有强大优势且使用简单灵活的SQL SERVER为开发工具，对测量的数据进行统计、管理，运用在数值计算方面具有强大功能的MATLAB软件对测量的数据进行计算、分析，绘制水轮机特性曲线，并对曲线拟合的误差进行了分析，最后建立了水轮机特性曲线拟合软件系统。
