The model has been applied to 4 eastern lakes and the results shows that the method is suitable for eastern lakes eutrophication evaluation.

| 杭嘉湖平原 位于中国浙江省北部。是浙江最大的堆积平原，面积约7620平方千米。属长江三角洲。地势低平，平均海拔3米左右。地面形成东、南高起而向西、北降低的以太湖为中心的浅碟形洼地。平原上水网稠密，河网密度平均12.7千米／平方千米，为中国之冠。平原表层沉积物以细颗粒泥沙（细粉沙、粘土）为主，属河流湖泊堆积物，其南缘属潮滩相沉积物，土质粗而疏松，地面缺少湖泊、水系变稀，地形相对高亢。平原内这种地面高程、沉积物质地和水文状况的差异，对农业生产、水利设施及工程建设等方面有深刻影响。 |
