The Radar sea spike is redefined in this paper and the short-time Fourier transform( STFT),smooth-pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution(SPWVD)and reassigned SPWVD( RSPWVD)are used to analyze the relationship between the sea spike in a single resolution unit and the time-frequency distribution of the IPIX radar clutter data.
