通过对区域地质、矿床地球化学特征及同位素测年等资料的研究分析,提出许家坡金银矿床受武当山(岩)群及武当隆起-滑脱构造和武当逆冲推覆构造的控制,表现出地层和构造控矿的双重性,其成矿因素比较复杂,成矿物质主要来源于深部,成矿热液主要属变质热液型中—低温热卤水,矿床成因为中—低温热液型矿床。

| 武当山金殿 中国明代大型鎏金铜亭。位于湖北省丹江口市道教圣地武当山主峰天柱峰顶端。建于明永乐十四年（1416）。高5.5米，面宽5.8米，进深4.2米，全部为铜铸鎏金重檐庑殿式仿木构建筑。成吨重的铸件用失蜡法铸造，总重百吨的铸件运至峰顶装配。构件设计精巧，装配严密。内有真武帝铜像，重达10吨；左右侍立有“金童”、“玉女”和“水、火二将”等铸像，均为明代铸像的代表作。殿前的金钟、玉磬也是明代原物。金殿反映出中国在14～15世纪的建筑和冶铸技艺的高超水平。1961年定为中国全国重点文物保护单位。
