Effects of nitrogen fertilization application and faba bean/maize intercropping on the spatial and temporal distribution of soil inorganic nitrogen

Effect of wheat/maize and faba bean/maize intercropping at 0,300,450 kg/hm2 nitrogen rate on water use in Hexi corridor of Gansu province were discussed, the results showed that during wheat flowering period, soil water content of intercropped maize were higher that that of solecropped at three nitrogen rate, intercropped wheat and faba bean .
