| 盾蚧 Diaspididae；armored scale 蚧总科盾蚧科的通称。种类繁多，遍布全世界，已知约2400余种。中国已知约 83属320余种。盾蚧常被蜡质介壳覆盖，因圆形介壳很似“盾牌”因而得科名。有些种类雌雄的盾壳完全不同，有些种类雌雄的盾壳完全相同。雌成虫虫体常为圆形和长形。前部常由头、前胸、中胸组成，有时由头、胸部和第 1 或1、2腹节共同组成，这一部分常为虫体的宽大部分，其余则短而小分节明显。有的种类整个虫体不分节。 寄生于各种乔木、灌木和草本植物，是林业、果树、经济作物和观赏植物的重要害虫类群。大多数种类寄生于植物的茎、枝、梢、叶和果实上，少数种类还能寄生在根部和地下茎部分。 |
