   对植物病原菌具有毒杀或抑制生长作用的农药。专用于杀灭细菌的称杀细菌剂;只对病原菌的生长起抑制作用的有时特称抑菌剂;防止农产品、食品变腐和轻工业品发霉的分别称为防腐剂和防霉剂。杀菌剂按化学成分分成无机的和有机的。无机的有硫素、铜素和汞素杀菌剂3类;有机的分有机硫类、三氯甲硫基羰酰亚胺类、金属元素有机化合物类、甲酰替苯胺类等;内吸有机杀菌剂有苯并咪唑类、有机磷化合物类、三唑类和嘧啶类等。此外还有从微生物的次生代谢物中分离或人工模拟合成的抗生素类杀菌剂。杀菌剂沿着3个主要方向发展:一是定向合成,使新化合物能定向地具有所需要的性质;二是天然产物(微生物、高等植物)的研究利用;三是非杀生性病害防治剂的研究等。
