形态特征:
树冠狭圆锥形,秋叶鲜褐色

分布与习性:
树冠狭圆锥形,秋叶鲜褐色
为落羽杉变种,强阳性树种,不耐阴。喜温暖、湿润环境,稍耐寒。适生于深厚疏松的酸性或微酸性土壤,苗期在碱性土种植时黄化严重,生长不良,长大后抗碱能力增加。耐涝,也能耐旱。生长迅速,抗风力强。萌芽力强。

繁殖与栽培:
池杉用播种和扦插繁殖,最好选用优良母树,建立种子园和采穗树园。行播种繁殖的,最好从人工辅助授粉开始,应在5~6天盛花期间重复授粉3~4次。约在10月底起采收球果。扦插育苗分硬枝扦插、嫩枝扦插良种。

应用:
池杉树形婆娑,枝叶秀丽,观赏价值高,又适生于水滨湿地条件,可在河边和低洼水网地区种植,或在园林中作孤植、丛植、片植配置,亦可列植作道路的行道树。
