红掌

红掌是天南星科花烛属多年生附生常绿草本。株高多为50至80厘米,也会因品种而异。肉质根,无茎,叶从根颈抽出。叶为长柄,单生、心形,鲜绿色,叶脉凹陷,单花顶生。花梗长40—70厘米。佛焰苞直立展开,蜡质,肉穗花序无柄,圆柱状,略向外倾。佛焰苞宽5至20厘米。

  红掌性喜温暖、荫蔽、湿润,忌炎热,怕阳光直射,根属气生根,故要求通气良好。一般夏季温度不宜超过28℃,相对湿度不低于80,冬季温度不低于14℃,相对湿度不低于70。

  红掌生长的适宜温度为20℃,夏季温度高时,应加强通风;寒流来时,如温度低于15℃时,应注意防寒。
