在软化过的水中,钙、镁等成分被钠所替代;而在被(经特定电磁原理)处理过的水中,只是钙离子的晶体结构被改变,使其以一种很小的颗粒状态溶于水中。这两种方法都能防止水管内的水垢生成。
  在被"处理"过的水中,对人体有益的钙等成分还保留在水中,而且是以人体能吸收的状态(溶解状态)存在。
  在被“软化”过的水中,水中的钙等矿物质成分被滤掉,而钠成分增多,使水不能用于饮用。
