茶树地方品种

  茶树地方品种(loeal varieties of teaplant)在某一特定生态环境和茶类地区内,经人工选择或在当地长期栽培利用过程中逐渐演化形成、具有地方特色的茶树品种。亦称当地品种、本地品种或农家品种、地方品种。一般皆缺乏较系统的育种和鉴定程序,但都比较适应当地的自然环境和茶类要求,也具有某种独特的性状、特性和一定的栽培面积。中国茶树地方品种种类很多,潜藏的遗传种质十分丰富,不仅在茶树育种中有很大的价值,有的地方品种经过鉴定后还可以直接扩大推广的范日。茶树地方品种按照繁殖方式分为有性系地方品种和无性系地方品种两类。有性系地方品种的茶树皆采用种子繁殖,在茶树组成中往往包含若干不同类型成分.组成-个群体,故亦称为“茶树群体品种”。如祁门群体品种中,以储叶型为主,还有柳叶型、小叶型、大叶型、紫芽型、迟芽型等。在印度,称有性系地方品种为‘,Jat,’,是族(Races)的意思,以原产地加以命名,如马尼普尔种(Manipuri jat)和贝特种(Betjan jat)等都较著名。无性系地方品种皆以扦擂、压条、分株等方法进行繁殖后代。同一品种的植株,在形态、特征、特性上的差别较小。而在不同品种间的差异较显著,所以从形态上很容易识别。培育无性系地方品种的历史以福建省为最早,种类多达50多种,其次为浙江和江西两省。(陈炳环)
