性质:由牻牛儿苗科植物香叶天竺葵(Pelargonium graveolens LHer. )的新鲜茎叶经水蒸气蒸馏得到。为绿黄色至琥珀色澄清液体。具玫瑰和香叶醇样香气。0.886~0.898,1.464~1.472,旋光度-7°~-13°(25℃),酸值1.5~9.5。主成分为香叶醇和香茅醇,还含芳樟醇、异薄荷酮、薄荷酮、甲酸香叶酯、甲酸香茅酯等成分。主产于留尼旺岛、埃及和中国。主要用于日用香精,少量用于食品香精。
