又名貂油。淡黄色油状液体，具有令人不愉快的骚腥气味，但经精制后基本无嗅。密度0.9l-0.92g／cm3。凝固点18-20℃。溶于甘油酯等油。较易溶于乙醇、异丙醇。陆栖类动物性油。主要成分为各种脂肪酸，其中不饱和脂肪酸含量高达70％，其它具有特殊生理作用的脂肪酸如亚油酸、亚麻酸、花生酸等各占9％左右。另外还含有不饱和甘油酯，共中大多为不对称的异构体。抗氧能力强，不易酸败。
生产方法：主要采用溶剂萃取法。以陆栖类动物水貂的皮下脂肪为原料，先经清洗，然后用苯或石油醚等溶剂浸渍选取，再经蒸提而得。
用途：动物性油。广泛用于生产各种高级护肤营霜护肤乳液、发油、发水、唇膏、清洁霜及爽身用品等化妆品。因其含有多种营养成分，理化特性与人体脂肪相近，具有良好的渗透性，易于被皮肤吸收，使皮肤柔软而有弹性，对干性皮肤尤为适宜，同时对黄褐斑、干性脂溢住皮炎、冻疮等具有一定疗效。另外，还能改善毛发的梳理性，使毛发柔软、光亮。但价格较为昂贵。
