成思危定义的%26ldquo;虚拟经济%26rdquo;，是由马克思的%26ldquo;虚拟资本%26rdquo;概念衍生出来的。马克思的%26ldquo;虚拟资本%26rdquo;一词，英文是%26ldquo;fictitious capital%26rdquo;，德文是%26ldquo;fiktives Kapital%26rdquo;。成思危说：%26ldquo;虚拟经济是指与虚拟资本以金融系统为主要依托的循环运动有关的经济活动，简单地说就是直接以钱生钱的活动%26rdquo;；虚拟经济的产品就是各种金融工具，包括各种衍生工具。在这种定义中，整个经济活动被划分为两部分：实体经济和虚拟经济。实体经济是指物质产品、精神产品的生产、销售及提供相关服务的经济活动，不仅包括农业、能源、交通运输、邮电、建筑等物质生产活动，也包括了商业、教育、文化、艺术、体育等精神产品的生产和服务；而虚拟经济则是指相对独立于实体经济之外的虚拟资本的持有和交易活动。虚拟资本是市场经济中信用制度和货币资本化的产物，包括银行信贷信用如期票和汇票、有价证券如股票和债券、产权、物权及各种金融衍生品等。（陈嘉珉/2007）
