为蔷薇种植物水榆花楸的果实。
【植物形态】
水榆花楸，又名：枫榆、千筋树、黄山榆、水榆。 落叶乔木，高5～20米。树皮光滑，灰色；小枝无毛或稍有柔毛，亦褐色。单叶互生；质薄或略为草质；卵形至椭圆状卵形，长3～10厘米，先端短锐尖，基部圆形或宽楔形，边缘有不整齐单锯齿或重锯齿，上面无毛，暗绿色，下面光滑或稍有柔毛，侧脉6～13对；托叶披针形。花序伞房状，疏生，有花6～25朵，花托具柔毛；萼片5；花瓣5，白色；雄蕊多数，突出；子房下位，花柱通常为2。梨果稍圆形，红黄色，直径7～10毫米；具长柄。花期4～5月。果期9～10月。 生于较阴湿的山谷、杂木林或石缝中。分布浙扛、安徽、江西、湖南、湖北、四川、云南、贵州、山东、河北、河南、山西、陕西等地。
