三色龙血树又名三色木千年木，原产我国和印度。喜温暖、湿润和微酸性沙壤土，冬季温度不低于5℃，喜阳光充足，但忌烈日暴晒。
繁殖
可用扦插和压条繁殖。扦插以6－10月最好，剪取顶端枝条10－15厘米，带5－6片叶，插后1个月生根并萌芽。高空压条繁殖可于5－6月选取主茎，离顶端20厘米处，行环状剥皮，1厘米宽，将湿润苔藓盖上，并用塑料薄膜包扎，约40天发根。
栽培
夏季生长期多给茎叶喷水，有利于茎叶生长繁茂。每半月施肥1次，多年老株每周1次。盛夏中午稍加遮阴，冬季减少浇水，盆土宜干不宜湿，需充足阳光。
病虫害
主要有炭疽病和叶斑病危害，可用10%抗菌剂401 1000倍液喷洒。也有介壳虫危害，用40%氧化乐果乳油1000倍液喷杀。
应用
三色龙血树主茎挺拔，株丛繁茂，姿态小婆娑，适宜会场、公共场所、厅室出入处摆设。盆栽幼苗，优雅别致，适宜客室、橱窗点缀。
