牧草条播机(grass drilD草原或大田播种牧草种子的机具。可进行单一牧草种子的播种，或豆科牧草与禾本科牧草的棍合播种，不同品种的牧草与牧草间播以及谷物与牧草间播等。 牧草条播机的结构和工作原理与谷物条播机相类似。但由于不同牧草种子之间的物理机械特性有很大差异，如有些种子很小，流动性好(如首猪);有些种子(如黑豆)与谷物种子相似;有些种子流动性极差，其表面生有芒刺及绒毛(如狐尾草)，使排种极困难。因此，对排种器的要求各有所不同，对流动性稍差的禾本科牧草种子(如黑麦、裸麦)可利用谷物条播排种器(如外摘轮式)排种，并在槽轮上部设置搅拌器，以防止种子架空和成团，对小而流动性好的牧草种子，则需用专用小摘轮排种器。对于播种豆科牧草的搜土深度要求较浅(2一4厘米)，因而在已耕地上作业，开沟器大多采用钝角锚式开沟器(即靴式)，以满足浅播要求。 在未耕地或草原地上播种牧草时，还须在开沟器前方安装缺口圆犁刀在地表开出窄沟，切断开沟深度内的草皮、草根，以便开沟播种施肥。 不同品种牧草或谷物与牧草问播时，前方的缺口圆犁刀在未耕地上或草原地上开出一条窄缝沟，随后由凿形铲式开沟器开出种沟。此时，由地轮通过传动机构带动排肥器和排种器工作，化肥经翰肥管和开沟器施人到草地地表F7一9厘米处，大种箱内的谷物或流动性稍差的牧草种子，由外槽轮排种器排出，经物种管、开沟器落人种沟内，并由扭土圆盘给以搜土。位于后部的小种箱及小槽轮排种器则播流动性好的小粒牧草种子，排出的种子落于硬土圆盘彼土过程中的地表层附近，达到浅播要求。(张德文)
