对桂北某电镀厂排污口下游河道中的淤泥和附近不同植物的重金属含量进行了调查分析:距排污口一定距离的淤泥受到不同程度的污染,污染程度随距离增加而减少;测定了8种植物中重金属的富集量,发现蒲公英(Taraxacum)、双穗雀稗(Paspalum distichum)对4种金属(Cu,N i,Zn,Cr)有较强的富集能力。

| 海雀 Alcidae；auks 鸟纲鸥形目海雀科鸟类的通称。前趾间有蹼膜 ，后趾缺如。翅窄而短小，尾短。全世界有13属21种。是典型的海鸟。体羽黑白二色，雌雄羽色相似。平时栖息于海洋上，只有繁殖时期才到岸边的岛屿或陆地上来。上岸时大致呈直立式，状如企鹅。善于游泳和潜水，一般能潜入水下10米以上。以鱼类、甲壳动物和其他海生无脊椎动物为食。在太平洋和大西洋北部沿岸地区繁殖，冬时南迁到地中海、美国加利福尼亚州、中国台湾省。海雀集群繁殖，两性都抱窝育雏。每窝产卵1枚，梨形，白、蓝灰、绿色，有的具桂红色斑点。孵化期30～36天。中国有3种：扁嘴海雀、角嘴海雀和斑海雀。
