【来源】
为漆树科植物黄栌的枝叶，植物形态详"黄栌"条。
【化学成分】
叶含鞣质达33%。鞣质中有没食子酸、没食子酸四糖、三没食子酰葡萄糖、三甲基没食子酰葡萄糖、黄酮类、飞燕草素3-半乳糖甙、越橘花青甙、矮牵牛素-3-葡萄糖甙、矢车菊素单葡萄糖甙、飞燕草素单葡萄糖甙、芍药素单葡萄糖甙等。又含挥发油。
【药理作用】
从黄栌的叶中所获得的总黄酮甙制剂，口服80～160毫克/公斤有抗炎作用，对大鼠、小鼠的甲醛性脚爪浮肿有抑制细胞增生的作用，并增加毛细血管的抵抗力，对鸡蛋白性水肿无效。此外因含鞣质故有收敛、抗菌作用，可外用治创伤；亦可内服以治胃肠炎等。
【性味】
性寒，味苦。
【功用主治】
清湿热。治黄疸，水、火烫伤，漆疮。
【选方】
①治黄疸型传染性肝炎：黄栌三钱。水煎服。 ②治水、火烫伤皮肤未破及漆疮：黄栌适量，煎汤洗患处。(性味以下出《河北中药手册》)
