茶树，种生，期鉴定(appraisal of de-veloPment sta罗in tea breeding)对茶树育种在生长发育过程中经历的时间所表现的性状进行评定。包括年生育期和个体生育期的鉴定，利用生育期的不同形态特征和经济性状，以及对外界环境条件的反应，有目的地加以鉴定。在年生育期内，趁早春可鉴定越冬芽萌发的早晚，对温度的反应，芽叶色泽、大小及茸毛的多少，春梢的生长势和生长量;夏季高温干早季节，可鉴定抗热及耐早性的强弱，芽叶色泽的变化，特别是紫色芽叶的出现，新梢生长量的变化，病虫害的感染程度;冬季可以利用自然条件鉴定茶树对低温的忍耐程度，特别是最低临界温度的反应。年生育期内，还可以鉴定构成产量各因子的表现，各季芽叶的比例，不同时期芽叶质量和内含成分的变化，开花结实习性等。个体生育期鉴定，是指从种子出苗到成龄进入全面采摘阶段，主要是鉴定种子的生活力，幼苗的适应能力、树型、树姿、分枝习性、叶片着生状态、树幅树高的变化、发芽密度等生育特点。单株产量和单位面积内产量增长幅度的变化，也是鉴定茶树个体生育期的重要内容。 (王融初)
