ho一yang(yuye)bulao海洋(渔业)捕捞(Inarine fishing)使用渔具直接获取海洋水产经济动物的生产方式，属于水产部门的第一产业。它的产生和发展，与渔船、渔具、渔具材料、渔用仪器、渔港建设及水产品加工的发展进步相辅相成。 第二次世界大战后，由于新渔船船型不断出现和船体大型化，同时逐步普及了现代助渔导航仪器、合成纤维渔具材料，应用了电子计算机、配套的液压捕捞机械设备，提高了渔具性能和侦渔技术，促进了海洋捕捞机械化、自动化和捕捞效率，扩大了捕捞作业范围和捕捞对象。 海洋捕捞按作业水域离本国陆岸远近分，有沿岸捕捞、近海捕捞，外海捕捞和远洋捕捞;按国际水域分，有领海海域捕捞、专属渔区捕捞和公海捕捞;按捕捞作业的渔具分，有拖网捕捞、围网捕捞、刺网捕捞、张网捕捞、敷网捕捞、钓具捕捞、笼壶捕捞等(参见彩图插页第79页)。 《联合国海洋法公约》实施后，各沿海国家或地区纷纷制订了保护本国海洋生物资源的法规和条例，规定捕捞区和期限，实行纳税捕鱼和限期捕捞，杜绝了传统的自由捕捞作业，同时加强了公海捕捞国际协定和限制，有利于保护海洋生物资源。(赵传姻)
