【草本植物】
草本植物的茎内木质部不发达，属于草质的。茎、枝柔软，植株较小。一般为一年生、二年生植物或多年生。多数在生长季节终了时，其整体部分死亡，包括一年生和二年生的草本植物，如水稻，萝卜等。多年生草本植物的地上部分每年死去，而地下部分的根、根状茎及鳞茎等能生活多年，如天竺葵等。
