海南大田国家级自然保护区
位于海南省东方县境内，面积1314公顷，1980年经广东省人民政府批准建立，1986年晋升为国家级，主要保护对象为海南鹿及其生态环境。
海南坡鹿仅产于我国海南岛的西部和西南部，种群数量极少，为我国特有的珍稀濒危动物和国家一级重点保护野生动物，对研究海南岛特殊的动物区系有重要的作用。大田保护区境内分布着海南坡鹿种群得到了扩大和增殖，在保护海南坡鹿方面发挥了极其重要的作用。
