性质:真核生物叶绿体中发现的70s核糖体。在70s核糖体上合成蛋白质可被氯霉素抑制,而不受环己酰亚胺(放线酮)影响,这情况正好与(真核生物)80s细胞质核糖体相反。叶绿体的核糖体可分为50s及30s的亚基。在70s核糖体中链的引发需要用N-甲酰甲硫氨酸而不是甲硫氨酸。大约有50种蛋白质与70s核糖体有关,其中有几种系由细胞质系统合成的。
