pic是美国，也是全世界最大的猪育种公司，在26个国家设有分公司和种猪基地，其种猪出口到世界54个国家，年营业额达670亿美元。
pic猪的生产性能为：产仔成活数9.43头，母猪年产2.23胎日增重750克背膘厚2.03厘米。迪卡公司是美国第二大猪育种公司，在美国有12个种猪经销中心、13个种猪场，并从中国进口梅山猪和东北民猪用于提高种猪产仔数。
pic猪，五系配套，生长速度快，158天可达110公斤，瘦内率66％，料肉比2．8：
一是吃得少，发育快。平均每投入3.4公斤料可长毛猪1公斤，仔猪只需156天即可出肥，体重达100公斤左右，比国内猪育肥期缩短90天左右，少耗料100多公斤。
二是产仔多，成活率高。每头pic母猪平均年产仔猪2.2窝，每窝平均10头，成活率高达98%，比国产猪产仔数多出1倍以上。
三是瘦肉率高，肉质细嫩、质量好。平均瘦肉率达60%，其中符合出口标准的有40%左右，比国内猪瘦肉率高出10%以上。
四是免疫力强，对环境适应性较好。目前，猪肉出口以日本、韩国、东南亚等国家和地区为主，年出口量2000吨以上。
