【来源】
为唇形科植物小齿锥花的根。
【植物形态】
小齿锥花 亚灌木，高1～2米。幼枝四方形，密被灰黄色星状毛。单叶对生；叶片长椭圆形，长10～20厘米，宽5～10厘米，叶缘具细锯齿；叶柄及叶背密被灰黄色星状毛。稀穗状花序成对生于叶腋，花梗长于叶柄，有叶状小苞片，被星状毛；花红色；萼10脉，5等裂；花冠管纤弱，喉部扩大，肢2唇形，上唇头盔状；下唇阔3裂；雄蕊4；子房4裂。小坚果。 生于竹林边或灌木丛中。分布云南。
【采集】
全年可采。切片晒干。
【性味】
苦，凉。
【功用主治】
清热解毒，止咳化痰，消炎利尿。治肺炎，气管、支气管炎，咳嗽痰多，尿路感染，膀胱炎，肾炎水肿，尿路结石。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.5～1两。
