印鉴银行有权签字人的签字样本。是银行间业务往来必不可少的重要文件。银行之间的信函、凭证、票据等，经有权签字人签署后寄送收件银行，由收件银行与其印鉴册核对相符后，即可确认信函、凭证、票据的真实性。印鉴册一般有印刷和缩印胶片两种，启用后其中部分签样可随时注销或增补。印鉴应按绝密文件管理和使用。主管印鉴人员一般均为银行的资深职员，具有忠于职守、严守机密的良好素质。银行的印鉴管理人员一般都是专职的。核对印鉴的工作人员均刻制有专用业务章，专人专用。核对印鉴后，须按核印结果在业务凭证上加盖“印鉴核符”或“印鉴不符待查”等专用章，对印鉴不符的要负责查清。印鉴工作人员调离时，对核印专用章的交接要做记录。印鉴工作人员对印鉴册应妥善保管，不得与非印鉴工作人员谈及有关印鉴的间题。
