Based on the density of stales calculation of the concentration of oxygen vacancy in anatase semi-conductor, the model of anatase with different sizes and proper concentrations of oxygen vacancy were studied under the same condition.

The effect of oxygen vacancy in anatase TiO2 crystal on the optical property was studied by using the plane waves ultrasoft pseudopotential technique,which was based on density functional theory.

Anatase TiO2 nanocrystallites were prepared from TiCl4 with addition of aqueous ammonia by changing Ti(OH)4 precipitate into its corresponding ethanol-gels(by extensive washing with absolute ethanol) followed by supercritical drying in ethanol medium.
