性质:可以处理城市生活垃圾或工业废料、废液。先将垃圾除去金属,然后与燃料、空气充分混合后焚烧。可根据垃圾的形态采用不同炉型。如是固体干料,可用固定炉排的焚烧炉。如是能够用泵输送的浆料,可用沸腾床焚烧炉。如是废液污水,可用旋风炉焚烧。高温焚烧可达1600℃,常温则为800~1200℃。焚烧垃圾可消灭细菌等有害微生物与寄生虫卵。其发生的热量可以利用。
