性质:又称台面,描述晶体表面台阶结构中的一个平面。通常晶体的表面台阶结构由平台-台阶-扭折所构成,并以下式表示:R(S)-[m·(hkl)×n(h′k′l′)]+[uvw]。式中R为台阶表面的组成元素,(S)为台阶结构,(hkl)为平台的晶面指标,m为平台宽度(m个原子列),(h′k′l′)是台阶侧面的晶面指标,n为台阶的原子层高度,[uvw]为平台与台阶相交的原子列方向。
