肖特基二极管（Schottkydiode）
用金属和半导体制成的面接触二极管，具有和pn结类似的单向导电性。由于肖特基二极管的正向电流主要是由半导体中的多数载流子进入金属所形成的，它是多数载流子器件。肖特基二极管中因没有少数载流子的注入和复合问题，故比pn结二极管的高频特性好。同时，由于没有扩散电容和正向导通电压低，故其开关速度也比pn结二极管高。肖特基二极管也称肖特基势垒二极管或简称为势垒二极管。目前已在微波通信及雷达装置中广泛应用于混频、检波、调制、超高速开关、倍频及低噪声参量放大等。
