Educational Periodical:the Important Stage for Teachers Professional Development in the Society of Study;

With the data offered by Chinese Social Science Citation Index,from the view of our educational periodicals quantity,the quantity of published articles and citation,analysis and introduction have been made on the general situation of our Chinese educational periodicals and the published paper during 2000-2004.

With the deepening of the reform of cultural and educational system,the traditional developing pattern of educational periodicals has been turning out of date.

Chemistry educational journals are media vehicle of publicizing thoughts and culture,carriers of research findings preservations, places where education practice is exchanged and medium used for spreading education information.

Given a comprehensive analysis and consideration of the positive roles and shortcomings, the educational journals will help us with more self-confidence, and will enable school teachers to make much greater progress in the long run.

Combined the real situation,this article has analyzed the present situation of comprehensive education periodicals and the main problems it is facing while developing,and then it puts forward some chief methods of solving these problems from four aspects,clarifying its orientation,reforming its contents and forms,marking better use of its publication resources,and strengthening management,as well.

The Chinese modern education periodical was an important way that Chinese modern education developed,and was also an important communion and spread flat roof of the modern education research.
