格律

    中国古代近体诗创作所依照的格式和韵律。发源于南朝齐而定型于初唐。格律的要求,一是限定字数和句数。五言八句称为五律,七言八句称为七律,偶有六句的称为小律,十句以上的称为排律。二是限定对偶。通常五律、七律每两句为一联,共由首联、颔联、颈联、尾联等四联构成,其中颔联、颈联必须是对偶句;排律除首尾两联外,其余各联均须是对偶句。三是限定押韵。通常五律、七律限押一韵,二、四、六、八句必须押韵,首句可押可不押,四是限定平仄。依中国汉语四声,平为平声,上去入为仄声。每句必须平仄相间,上下句必须平仄相对。通常有仄起和平起两种固定的格式。若不依常格,变动平仄的,称为拗体、拗句格或拗律。中国唐代近体诗,大多严格遵守这种格律,故又称格律诗。
