电视卡顾名思义就是通过PC机来看电视，让你的电脑变成数码录像机，目前市场电视卡的种类颇多，有二合一(一般是AVTV，它不仅可以看电视还可以把你录像带通过AV接口转换成MPEG格式，刻录成VCD/DVD)；三合一(AVTVDV，此卡几乎可以把市面上常见的输出设备通吃)。根据电视卡的接口\芯片\高频头...，来决定此卡的性能和价格，一般接口多的要比接口少的贵(芯片\调频头相同)，市场目前最常见有CONXANT\PHLIPS两大主流芯片商，高频头有原装PHLIPS\LG\TCL;PHLIPS高频品质最好，价格也是最贵的.如预约录像\多画面预览等这都是软件实现，几乎所有的电视卡的功能都差不多。
