制备方法:由苯丙酮环合、甲基化而得。1.环合将碳酸铵、氰化钾、氨水依次加入苯丙酮和乙醇的混合液中,加热反应后,将反应物放入冰水中,加稀盐酸至pH为5-6,析了白色粉末。过滤,滤液加硫酸亚铁水溶液破坏氰化物。滤饼用水洗至中性,干燥,得5-乙基-5-苯基乙内酰脲。2.甲基化将5-乙基-5-苯基乙内酰脲溶于氢氧化钠溶液中,缓缓加入硫酸二甲酯,在12-15℃反应2h至反应液为中性。过滤,滤饼先后用10%氢氧化钠溶液和水洗涤,干燥得美芬妥英粗品。精制而得成品。

用途:该品为抗癫痫病。大鼠腹腔注射LD50为270mg/kg。
