      用平行投影法将空间形体和确定其位置的空间直角坐标系投影到投影面上得到的图形(图1)。轴测图是画法几何研究的一项内容。它用单独一个投影表达空间形体,立体感强。在用平行投影法获得轴测图时,坐标轴与投影面间的夹角不同,坐标轴在投影面上的投影长度与其自身长度之比,即轴向变形系数也不同。因三条坐标轴两两互相垂直,它们的投影之间的夹角与它们的轴向变形系数间存在一定的制约关系,由此可推导出轴测图的一系列性质和定理。
  
  轴测图按平行投影法的投影方向是否垂直于投影面而分为正轴测图和斜轴测图,还可按三坐标轴的变形系数全部相等、两个相等和都不相等分为等轴测图、二等轴测图和三等轴测图。通常根据空间形体的形状和结构特点应选用合适的轴测图。中国机械制图国家标准推荐3种轴测图:①正等轴测图;②正二等轴测图;③斜二等轴测图。图2表示出这3种轴测图的轴向变形系数和坐标轴间夹角的数值,以及正立方体的相应轴测图。在3种轴测图中,正二等轴测图的立体感较好,但作图较繁,斜二等轴测图的立体感较差,但作图方便。
  
  轴测图的作图主要运用平行投影法的两个性质:平行二直线的投影仍平行;两平行线段长度之比等于其投影之比。作图时,先画出三坐标轴的投影,并确定其变形系数的数值。然后沿坐标轴投影的方向测量各线段的长度及其位置,逐步绘出形体的轴测图。
