模仿运载体中驾驶人员工作时所能观察到的外界目视景像的设备，主要用于驾驶人员的训练和空中交通管制人员训练。它向操作人员提供逼真的外界视景。视景仿真系统按工作原理可分为投影式（幻灯片、电影片或模型）、视景模型与闭路电视相结合或视景模型与激光系统相结合的形式和计算机成像系统等三类。对飞行仿真用的视景仿真系统需有很高的要求。计算机成像视景系统作为一种新型的视景系统已广泛应用于飞行仿真器中。它产生的视景视场宽，景像丰富、灵活、逼真，并可包含多自由度活动景像。它由三个主要部分组成：视景数据库、数字图像产生器和图像显示系统。视景数据库储存产生视景所需的各种基本的景物元素；数字图像产生器按计算机解算飞行器运动方程的结果从视景数据库中取得所需的景物元素，生成随飞行状态变化的视景；显示系统在飞行器座舱窗口显示图像产生器所产生的视景。
