zhongguoy一xue kexueyuan zhongguoxiehe yikedaxueyaoyong zh一wu yanJ一usuo中国医学科学院中国协和医科大学药用植物研究所(Institute Of Medieinal Plant，Chinese Aeade哪Of Mediealseience Peking Union Medieal Colle罗)成立于2953年8月。原名药用植物资源开发研究所，下设云南、海南和广西3个分所。现有职工500余人，其中科技人员310人，高级技术职称65人。研究所设有:药用植物资源室、栽培室、真菌室、植物化学室、化学室、分析室、药理室、免疫室、标本馆、药用植物园和中间实验药厂(参见彩图插页第76页)。 研究所的主要任务是:运用现代科学技术和方法对中国药用植物资源进行开发利用研究。具体任务:①药用植物资源开发利用的基础理论研究;②以扩大药材产量、提高药材质量为目标以及保护药用植物生物多样性的研究;③药用植物和药用原料深加工，药品和其他产品的开发研究;④新药、新制剂的开发研究。 建所以来，研究所已鉴定成果70多项，其中“西洋参大面积农田栽培技术研究”、“山西沙棘资源的调查研究”、“常用中药材品种整理及质量研究”3项成果获国家级成果奖，30多项成果获部级成果奖。发表学术论文500余篇;主持编写了《中药志》、《中国本草图录》、《中国药用植物栽培学》、《新华本草纲要》等专著20多部(卷)。1986年，研究所被世界卫生组织确定为世界卫生组织传统医学研究合作中心;同时被国务院学位委员会确认为生药学学科博士点和中国医学科学院重点学科，已培养博士生、硕士生129名。 研究所积极开展国际间的合作，已同日本、美国、德国、英国、法国、韩国、泰国等40余个国家和地区的有关教学、制药公司、科研机构进行了科技交流和合作研究关系。 所址:中国北京市。(朱兆仪)
