性质:又称斯盘(Span)型非离子表面活性剂。脂肪酸与山梨醇在碱催化剂的作用下加热到190℃脱水酯化,得到脂肪酸山梨醇酯。再加热到250℃时,山梨醇分子内部脱水,生成脂肪酸失水山梨醇酯。是重要的乳化剂,也是纤维油剂的重要配料。在羟基上与环氧乙烷加成后,得到另一系列称为吐温(Tween)型的非离子表面活性剂。
