塔格特(1884~1959)
Taggart,Arthur Fay

   美国选矿学家。1910年毕业于斯坦福大学,1911~1919年在耶鲁大学任教。1919年被聘为哥伦比亚大学选矿教授 。他根据现场收集的大量资料,探索出许多经验公式和假说 ,对选矿实践进行了系统的总结。1927年出版《选矿手册》 ,1944年出版增修再版。这部巨著内容丰富,成为各国选矿工作者的重要参考书,对选矿工程及学科的发展作出了重要贡献。
