海南磷枪石岛珊瑚礁自然保护区
海南磷枪石岛珊瑚礁地方级自然保护区位于海南岛西北部，包括磷枪石岛(又名大铲礁)及其周围海域，其地理范围为：109°04′50′～109°06′31′e，19°40′00′～19°41′29′n，面积131公顷，1992年4月由原儋县人民政府批准建立，主要保护对象为磷枪石岛及周边近海珊瑚礁及其生态环境。
磷枪石岛本身是由珊瑚、贝壳砂砾及各类珊瑚、贝壳、海滩崖、次生珊瑚礁砾组成的珊瑚岛，属珊瑚礁分布区的北缘，是研究北部湾珊瑚礁和南海珊瑚礁区域分布和珊瑚礁发育史及其生物构成与变迁的重要基地。
保护区管理活动使磷枪石岛及周边的海洋生态环境和生物多样性得以维持。从而维护与珊瑚礁有关的海洋生物资源。当地海洋生态环境基本保存完好，但珊瑚礁状态处于自然衰退中。
保护区的主管部门是儋州市海洋局，未设专门管理机构，管理工作由儋州市海洋行政管理部门负责。
