On the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary(1928-2008) of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics(IAP),Chinese Academy of Sciences,the authors very briefly reviewed some new results in the research of the interannual climate variability and short-term climate prediction in recent years,most in the past five years.
为了热烈庆祝中国科学院大气物理研究所成立80周年(1928～2008年),作者谨就五年来中国科学院大气物理研究所的科学家们完成的关于我国气候变异和气候预测方面的研究工作若干新成果作一些非常概要性的介绍,个中也包含一点所外科学家的工作。

And on the basis of this system,a series of short term climate prediction produced by dynamical climate model at timescale of monthly,seasonal and interannual has been launched into operation.
20年历史回报试验和1年多的试验性业务运行结果表明,该系统对东亚区域的季节预测具有较好的预测能力,其预测结果已经成为我国短期气候预测业务的重要参考信息。

| 气候预测 climate forecast 对某区域未来气候的预报。时效一般都在1年以上。气候预测和天气预报不同，后者是温度、降水等气象要素的具体预报；而前者是一定时期气象要素的统计量(如均值、极值)的预测。在制作气候预报时，大多沿用长期天气预报的某些原理和统计方法。要提高气候预报的精度，还需研究影响气候变化的各种因子，特别是气候系统(大气、海洋、大陆 、冰雪、生物圈等)内部各组成部分及其相互关系在气候变化中的贡献，不断改进气候模式。 |
