茶树品种区城性试验(regional test oftea varieties)侧定某一新品种或从外地引进的品种适宜栽培地区的试验。这类试验一般由国家专业机构统一组织，在不同的自然区域，选择具有代表性的地点和具有基本试验条件的单位，承担试脸任务。 开展品种区域性试验，可克服良种推广和引进工作中的盲目性，减少生产上的损失。 品种区域性试验一般是在品种比较试验的基础上进行的。但为了缩短育种年限，也可适当提早布t。区域性试验的规模、设计、观察记载项目等均与品比试验相仿。但同一次布置的各试验点，其供试品种、试验设计以及观察记载项目与方法等均应统一，以便于分析比较。(刘祖生)
